MEET THE TEAM

JASON HAIR, Vice President of Operations

Jason was born and raised in Texas and began his career in fine millwork over 24 years ago. Jason started his career as a CNC operator and later worked on the shop floor. Jason rose through the ranks holding positions in project management and engineering before moving into management.

Jason enjoys the creativity and challenges involved in fine millwork and being able to build unique, one-off designs, that you will not see in another house.

For fun, Jason enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, and spending time with his kids.

RICHIE GONZALEZ, Project Manager

Richie was born and raised in Central Texas. He started his career in construction remodeling and building homes with his father while studying psychology at Texas State University. With over 22 years of experience, Richie has held various roles in the industry including; installation foreman, millwork engineer, and project manager.

Richie enjoys the complexity of custom millwork and that every project requires its own strategic approach. Communication, planning, and coordination are key to the success of a project.

In his free time, Richie is an outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing, and being near water. Richie also enjoys traveling the country and has visited 44 US states.

DAVID WILSON, Senior Design Engineer

David is a seasoned engineering professional with 25 years of experience in the woodworking industry. Originally from West Texas, he moved to the Austin area in 2000. David began his career operating manual machinery and quickly advanced to operating CNC's, beam saws, and edgebanders. After a few years, he was promoted to production supervisor, overseeing fabrication operations. However, David's interest in the technical side of the industry led him to pursue a role in engineering, where he has held various positions from Engineer to Engineering Manager.

Outside of work, you will find David enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family by the pool.

MARK STRATTON, Design Engineer

Mark is a skilled woodworking professional with over 26 years of experience in the industry. Originally from Iowa, Mark has also lived in Tucson, AZ before making Texas his home. He has worked in various roles in millwork throughout his career, including project manager and engineer.

What Mark enjoys most about woodworking and fine millwork is the challenge of working on unique projects. He appreciates the fact that no two jobs are the same, and that people dream up scenarios that require him to find solutions that work.

In his downtime, Mark enjoys a variety of hobbies. He's an avid golfer, enjoys shooting guns, and loves kayaking down the San Marcos River or Canyon Lake.

ROLANDO VALENZUELA, Shop Foreman

Rolando was born and raised in Texas. He found his passion for cabinetry at an early age while helping his uncle in the field and has been working in this industry for 25 years. What keeps it interesting for him is that no two houses are ever the same - every project brings something new.

In his free time, you can find Rolando spending time with family and friends. His true passion is BBQing and smoking meats. One day, he hopes to have his own BBQ food trailer.

AARON PETERSON, CNC & Edgeband Operator

Born and raised in Central Texas, Aaron has been working in cabinetry for 20 years in roles ranging from shop work, installation, and CNC operating.

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his seven children and attending their youth sporting events and activities.  You can also find Aaron participating in Texas BBQ cook-offs. Not only is he the proud winner of multiple titles and awards, but he has been named 2015 Grand Champion of Hays County!

BRANDON WIGGINS, Sales & Estimating

Brandon is an experienced woodworking professional from Dripping Springs, with 18 years of experience in the industry. His interest in woodworking was sparked by a family friend, who worked at a woodshop. Over the years, Brandon has worked in various areas including fabrication, project management, and estimating.

One of the things Brandon enjoys most about woodworking and fine millwork is the satisfaction of producing quality products that go into high-end homes, which people will enjoy for years to come. In his free time, Brandon enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. He has also been participating in the Founders Day cookoff in Dripping Springs for the past 30 years, a tradition started by his parents. Brandon's culinary skills are impressive, and he cooks everything from brisket to chili on his 250-gallon smoker.

MATT PACE, Cabinet Maker

Originally from Anaheim, CA, Matt brings over 14 years of experience in the millwork industry to our team. Since moving to Texas in 1998, Matt has honed his craft as a trim carpenter and later transitioned to millwork. Matt's passion for woodwork began at a young age, while helping his mother remodel their family home. He enjoys working with his hands and creating new things, which is what drew him to the world of millwork. When he's not busy in the shop, you can find him hiking, biking, and enjoying the great outdoors with his family.

COREY KENALEY, Cabinet Maker

Corey always knew he wanted to work with his hands. He settled into carpentry nine years ago where he started doing specialty, custom work. Corey loves the challenge in knowing that every day he gets to work on something new and he takes pleasure in the problem solving that goes into making each project come to life.

Outside of carpentry, you can find Corey enjoying his love for hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.
